Hall

Although it is not a standard room, the hallway should also be carefully planned in terms of layout. It serves many practical functions but also introduces the style of your home. The hallway is the first space you pass through after entering the house, so it should reflect the overall atmosphere of the apartment right from the doorstep.

There are two main approaches to arranging the hallway. One is to completely separate it from the other rooms, creating a clear division. The second approach is to combine the hallway with adjacent rooms, such as the living room. In this case, using the same colour on the walls and floors can visually enlarge the space.

Subdued and bright colours work best to open up the hallway, which is usually small. If the hallway is narrow but long, adding a different colour or texture to a section of the wall can help balance the proportions.

In small hallways, it is especially important to pay attention to lighting, as it can warm up the space. Mirrors are also very helpful in such areas because they create an illusion of more space by reflecting light and brightening the hallway.
